Jorma Puranen (s. 1951) on työskennellyt valokuvataiteilijana 1970-luvulta lähtien. Hänen uransa on huomattavan kansainvälinen. Hänen keskeiset teossarjansa, kuten Kuvitteellinen kotiinpaluu, Jäisiä näkymiä ja Varjoja, heijastuksia ja kaikkea sellaista ovat olleet esillä lukuisissa näyttelyissä Suomessa ja ulkomailla.
